Urine, like blood, is a potentially infectious sample material. The UrineVac® Urine System enables a closed, sterile urine collection that in turn will improve the sample quality and guarantee the efficiency of the testing procedure. Tubes are available with or without preservatives.
The preservative helps stabilise the sample, which is vital when the sample cannot be analysed within
2 hours of collection. The preservative also allows delay of analysis for up to 96 hours.
